Romans 3:10  As it is written; there is none righteous; no, not one.

Romans 3:23  For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Man is sinful, God gave us free will and we abuse it to do what is easy, convenient, or pleasurable at the expense of what is right and we experience guilt because of our actions. We have all sinned and are in need of forgiveness.

Romans 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sin will take you further than you want to go, it will keep you longer than you want to stay, and it will cost you more than you want to pay...

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Revelation 3:20  Behold I stand at the door and knock:  If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will sup with him, and he with Me.

God saw our insufficiency and our need for an advocate. He sent his own son as the ultimate ambassador so that we can declare spiritual bankruptcy from our sin debt and begin life anew, “reborn” as a child of God.

Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by Me.”

Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

In Christ we have a way out of our sinful life. Jesus, the son of God, died as a sacrifice for the wrongs of humanity. While theologians can spend their whole life discovering new facts and truths in and about the scriptures the road to salvation is simple, age old, tried and true. Simply ask forgiveness for your sins and repent from your sinful lifestyle and you can be saved from your sin and ultimately the loss of your eternal soul.

If you would like to be saved, take a few moments to pray like this:

Lord God, I’m a sinner, and I want to give up my sinful lifestyle and live the kind of life You would have me live.  I confess now that I believe that your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died for me.  He took the punishment for my sins on himself, thereby offering me forgiveness of my sins and the opportunity for everlasting life, as is Your will for me.  I believe in him, and receive him as my Savior and Lord.  Amen.

When you have sincerely prayed this prayer, you will be “born again”, saved by your faith in Jesus Christ. If you made a decision for Christ, take the next step and confess the Lord Jesus as your Savior to others.  We’d be thrilled to hear from you if you have received Jesus as your Savior as a result of this biblical explanation of the simple road to salvation.
